first_imgCategories: Letters to the Editor, Opinion I am for the DACA immigrants, as long as they have a job to support themselves, do not take taxpayers’ money for welfare, and prove that they were children when they came to the United States and not adults. If they are going to stay, the first thing they should be required to do is speak English just like the immigrants who came here legally. Speaking of legally, the people who come here legally should have first choice of being made legal citizens. I can’t believe that our governor, and the rest of our government, want to legalize marijuana for recreational use. Of course, it won’t be abused — right? How do they plan on it not being abused? How many billions of dollars have we spent so far to stop it from coming into our country? We are still spending to stop illegal drugs from coming into the country.
