According to The Telegraph, the Westray-Papa Westray commercial route is the shortest flight in the world, lasting as little as 47 seconds (depending on wind direction). That’s right, seconds.The distance between the two locations is little more than a mile. Loganair, a Scottish regional airline, has been operating the inter-island service since 1967.
