first_imgPrimary Schools Athletics Challenge will be held on May 20th.The details of the 45th annual Primary Athletics Schools Challenge have been formally announced in order to give schools time to prepare for the prestigious event.The event will be held at the superb facilities at the Finn Valley Centre in Stranorlar on the 20th of May with events kicking off at 11am sharp.The program of events are outlined below. Born 2009 60mBorn 2008 60m, 100mBorn 2007 80m, 300m, Long Jump, Turbo JavelinBorn 2006 80m, 600m, Turbo Javelin, Long Jump ,High Jump , Relay Born 2005 100m, 600m, High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put, Turbo JavelinBorn 2004 100m, 800m, High Jump, Long Jump, Relay (see b) Turbo JavelinBorn 2004/2003 ShotBorn 2003 100m, 800mRules: 1. Entry fee is £2.50/€3.00 payable in advance or on arrival,2. Children may compete in two events only plus relay: Schools please note3. Children to compete in their own age category, the exception being relay where the sections are:a. Born 2007/2006 b. Born 2005/20044. Schools are limited to two children in each High Jump, Long Jump, Shot and Turbo Javelin only if they have qualified at an area sports otherwise 1 only .5.
