Their eleventh release mirrors the success of 2013’s Kings and Queens album and 2008’s Amplify, which also both debuted at #1 on the Billboard Reggae Chart.The band’s newest video, “Old John Brown,” radiates the energy of the group’s exciting live performances. JBB offers a glimpse of their lively performance at Grassroots Festival in Trumansburg, NY. “Old John Brown,” off the album Kings and Queens, is one of the stand out tracks John Brown’s Body plays live, highlighting a diverse set of new and classic songs.Says the band, “‘Old John Brown’ is a tribute to the band’s namesake, John Brown, an American abolitionist who believed armed insurrection was the only way to overthrow the institution of slavery in the United States prior to the American Civil War.
