first_imgThe Scottish Football Association have hit Rangers with five disciplinary charges following the criticism of referee Willie Collum.The Ibrox club have been accused of criticizing a referee in such a way to indicate incompetence or bias; putting the game of football in disrepute; not behaving in the best interests of football, and two other charges partly related to sportsmanship.Rangers launched a formal complaint against Willie Collum and publicly criticised him and the FA’s appeals process after failing to overturn a second yellow card received by Daniel Candeias.Steven Gerrard’s side submitted an appeal against the second yellow card picked up by Candeias during their win over St. Mirren on November 3, insisting there was an issue of mistaken identity; after Candeias appeared to do nothing during a clash with St Mirren defender Anton Ferdinand.An official statement read, according to talkSPORT:Rangers is still behind Celtic: John Hartson Manuel R.
